LED BR30/R30 or PAR30?
The efficiency and accuracy of LED technology has taken these two form factors to new heights.

Characteristics such as beam angle, color, and brightness are so precise now with LED, the differences between BR30 and PAR30 have become more pronounced now.

BR30 and R30 flood lights are interchangeable. The shapes are only slightly different.  R is for Reflector and BR is for "Bulged Reflector".  These terms are no longer applicable with LED.  The term BR30 will be used throughout.  The BR30 features an ultra wide beam angle that immerses the room wall to wall with smooth even lighting.  Shadows are minimized for a soothing work space.  Ideal for any room or work area with ceilings under 12' high.

PAR30 bulbs have a much narrower beam angle and are ideally suited for taller ceilings, accent lighting, or to highlight specific objects/areas.  A common mistake for home owners is purchasing a PAR30 for an 8-10' ceiling height recessed light fixture.  This results in a bright circle of light directly below the recessed fixture, dark walls, harsh light contrast, and bothersome shadows.

The Great Eagle LED BR30 is the most advanced bulb today.  No other bulb matches the performance, energy savings, build quality, and IdealK color balanced technology.

One bulb does it all.

Unique to Great Eagle is the IdealK color balanced light technology.  Instead of worrying about what shade of white light for each different room or work area, we've taken the guess work out.  One bulb for all applications.
